Kendra, from My Insanity has blown my mind with this spectacular Baby Shower Theme. Love how she sketched the Building and Brooklyn Bridge for her back drop. Love the whole concept and the level of creativity!!!
This past weekend I had the opportunity to style Elias' 1st Birthday Party. Elias' mom & I decided to go with decorations that brought nostalgic memories of old school parties. Our other inspiration was Toy Story, but a with classic twist.
Swirl lollipops, Sock Monkey, ABC wooden blocks, 25 cent juices with striped paper straws, jacks, lemon heads... Are you feeling nostalgic? We even got a cake decorated just like the parties before.
Each guest table had a particular Classic Toy. Like Mr. Potato Head,
the Chatter Telephone, Raggedy Anne & Andy just to name a few.
Each Toy had a story telling on a little history on each of them.
To make this table visually fun I choose to make the
background colorful by adding Yellow to brighten it up.
Crafted out a smaller party banner for this
entrance table along with the party cones.
Radio Flyer with the the goody bags.
And of course we had to have the party hats for the kids : )
Thank You, Vielka for the opportunity to work with you.
Her ideas and mine together, created a lovely CLASSIC TOY STORY Party!
I have been pretty busy here and there lately... so I had no particular post in mind for today. That quickly changed when I stopped by The City Cradle blog to see what they were up to. This is what I call My Monday Crush. Everything is just so perfect from color scheme, to every single detail.
